TEACHER AIDE FIXED TERM POSITION 2025​​​​​​​

Criteria for Appointment:

  • Work collaboratively, looking for opportunities to work with and alongside others to share good practice

  • Have a passion for supporting tamariki with diverse needs

  • Have a positive and optimistic attitude and enjoy supporting and guiding tamariki

  • Ensure all decisions and actions reflect the values of our kura

Thank you for considering our current Teacher Aide/ Kaiawhina vacancies. There are two positions available so please indicate your preference in your application. 

Vacancy 1 is 27.5 hours per week and 5 days a week. 

Vacancy 2 is 16.5 hours per week and 3 days per week.

Both positions are fixed term until 12th December 2025. More often than not, Teacher Aide positions are renewed annually based on external funding levels. There is every chance this employment could continue in 2026, but this is not guaranteed. 

Ideally the position commences at the start of Term 3 (Monday 14th July) but this is negotiable. 

You must be passionate about supporting tamariki and providing the best opportunities for learning.
