Frimley School offers students the opportunity to take part in the 23rd Hawke’s Bay Barefoot Seven-a-Side Primary Schools Rugby Tournament, held on 21 May from 11:00am–2:00pm. This fun and inclusive event is open to both experienced players and those new to the game, and is available for students in Years 2–6.
With five different weight grades for tackle rugby, plus Touch options, the focus is on fair play, safety, and enjoyment for all. Held at Hastings Boys’ High School and Akina Park, the day is all about participation—no trophies, just fun, skill-building, and friendship.
