Inter-School Swimming Sports

Tuesday 1 March was a busy day for many students at Frimley.  Two classes were getting ready for, and it was also the Hastings Primary Schools' Inter-School Swimming Sports.

Frimley sent 32 Year 4-6 students to compete in Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke and Freestyle Relay events.

Of the 18 Championship Races of each event and age, all were swimmers were placed; 11 won the event, two finished second, and five finished third.  Of the 67 races, including Championship races, 59 Frimley Swimmers were placed; 31 swimmers won, 15 finished second, and 13 finished third.  An excellent effort!

The most exciting part of the day is Relay Time.  Frimley won three relays, finished second in two, and third in one.

It was a great day and Frimley did exceptionally well.  We are looking forward to next year already.
