In the Computer room we are learning to...

  1. Load Kidpix programme
  2. Use the drawing, bucket, text and stamp tool.

We made 'Under the Sea' pictures while we were practising how to use all these tools. 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Language

 We learned all about the difference between a traction engine and a steam engine. Mr Dixon had to help teach us!. This steam engine was outside our school gates. The man had to feed the coal into the special compartment to make the steam and make the wheels with the belts on them turn. It had 5 wheels, it was red and black, it made a big funny tooting sound and it had a steering wheel to control it. We were worried that it wouldn't be able to stop at the lights.

Well done on a great start to the year! I wish I had seen the traction engine. I'll look forward to hearing and seeing more of what goes on in and around Room 4.

Wow you are doing some really cool things in your classroom! I love the new website and being able to see what you are learning about!All the under the sea pictures look so neat!!! Keep up the great work room 4!
